The garden's are not open when it's raining or the temperature is above 90 degrees for volunteer service hours. Please sign up for volunteer opportunities at the volunteer center website or call our community garden operation advisor/manager at 336-430-5077 or 336-617-6723. Gardens are open Monday through Friday and open for the community to harvest at their own time. We ask each family to harvest only what they need for one meal. Gardens are funded by grants and private donations, and maintained and managed by NHCDG, a Collaborative Cottage Grove Partner. Gifts-In-Kind are also welcome and appreciated. Garden classes are available by sign-up. See the sign-up form on our website or call the numbers above.
