Community Health Center - Economic Development

New Hope Community Development Group undertook economic development activities by assisting as a community organizational leader to help bring the Mustard Seed Community Health Center to East Greensboro.  NHCDG is a proud community supporter of this economic development and collaborated with others to help bring a health center to  238 South English Street.
The health center is located on the campus of
 New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Community Scenes
Our community has been working and serving even during the COVID-19 Pandemic. NHCDG and our partners have been working alongside community and other non-profit organizations.  Our neighborhood churches partnered to provide food distribution, Voter Registration, COVID-19 Testing and information, Influenza (flu) Vaccination Clinic, dinner, grab and go meals, fresh produce from NHCDG Gardens, area Black Farmers, NC A&T Farm, Strong Minds, Strong Communities, Oak Street Health, and PPE's from UNCG Resource Center at Cottage Gardens as well as funding from grants to help families in Guilford County lessen the effects of food, health and economic insecurity.  Providing this collaborative effort is just the right thing to do.  We are in this pandemic together and together we will work toward helping our neighbors move forward.  Thank you to the many community volunteers, churches, civic groups and organizations who we proudly work alongside.
