Our services include community-based service projects, providing fresh produce from our community garden, serving as a community organizational leader for a community health clinic, conducting seminars, computer technology workshops, and reading and financial literacy classes. NHCDG plans, develops, and implements outreach programs that will meet the needs of communities within 0-200% of the Federal Poverty Level, communities of color, minority-led organizations/contractors, and those representing under-represented populations.
Community Service Programs
NHCDG Goal/Program focus area will be administered, but not limited to programs that address the following.
Informal Educational Seminars
We offer informal educational seminars on health, finances, budgeting, and workforce development. Our workforce development seminars include resume building, interview techniques, and hosting job fairs. Additionally, we partner with Collaborative Cottage Grove to host an annual health fair to provide information on heart health, how to increase physical activity, nutrition, and other wellness topics to the cottage grove community.
